LaPine State Park is along the Deschutes River, 27 miles south of Bend Oregon. Fly fishing in the Deschutes is one of the big attractions of the park. A number of good hiking trails are nearby as well as a dozen beautiful lakes. Mountain bikers find an abundance of trails and dirt roads to explore.
LaPine State Park Campground features 82 campsites with full hook-ups and another 47 sites with electric and water hook-ups. The campground is in a subalpine pine forest close to the Deschutes River. In addition to the campsites, LaPine State Park Campground offers 5 rustic log cabins and 5 deluxe log cabins to visitors.

LaPine State Park Campground offers 5 rustic log cabins and 5 deluxe log cabins, open for reservations year-round. The maximum capacity of the cabins is 8 people, allowing that some will sleep outside in a tent. Guests bring their own bedding, dishes, cooking utensils, and cook stove. Guests may park an RV at the cabin, but there are no hook-ups.
The 5 rustic cabins each have 1 room and sleep up to 4 people. The cabins have light and heat, along with a picnic table, fire ring, and tent space. One pet-friendly cabin accepts up to 2 dogs or cats.
The 5 deluxe cabins each have 2 rooms and can sleep up to 5 people. Amenities include a covered porch, bathroom with a shower, microwave, refrigerator, and outdoor propane BBQ. The cabins have heat and light. One pet-friendly cabin accepts up to 2 dogs or cats.

Kids and adults alike have a great time at Sun Mountain Fun Center in Bend. Bowling, bumper cars, billiards, arcade, mini-gold, go karts, batting cages.
Key LaPine State Park Campground Regulations
Campfires may only be lit in provided fire rings.
Purchase firewood in the park. Collecting firewood in the park is prohibited.
Bicycle riders under the age of 16 must wear helmets.
Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
There is a 5 MPH speed limit in the campground.
Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times. At night they must be kept in a vehicle or tent.
