Boulder Flat Campground is along the North Umpqua River in the Umpqua National Forest, 53 miles east of Roseburg. Boulder Flat gets its heaviest use from rafters who take advantage of the launch site at one end of the campground. A changing room is available near the raft launch site. The campground also serves as a convenient base for fishing and for exploring the adjacent Boulder Creek Wilderness. Anglers should check Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations regarding the North Umpqua River.
Boulder Flat Campground has 9 campsites which now may be reserved. The campground has a gravel road and spurs. Ample shade covers the campsites. Some sites are along the river. No potable water is available at Boulder Flat.
Reservations are available for camping dates from late May through early September. After Labor Day campsites at Boulder Flat Campground are first-come-first-served.

Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
