Big Eddy Campground
Big Eddy Campground sits along the Nehalem River in Columbia County, 45 miles north of Portland. The beautifully forested Big Eddy Park makes a tranquil setting for campers. Within the park are a small boat launch, an open grassy area for games and play, a volleyball court, a children's playground, horseshoe rings, and a pet area. The nearby Banks-Veronia State Trail is a paved, 8-foot-wide hiking and bicycle trail that extends for 21 miles. A gravel horse trail parallels the paved bike trail.
Big Eddy Campground has 35 campsites with 14 RV full hook-up sites. Tent sites have water and electricity available. Five hiker/bicyclist sites are available. Restrooms have flush toilets and showers. Mature trees offer generous shade for campers. The campground is open year-round.
