Camp Wilkerson is located deep in the forest about an hour north of Portland. The remote location is within a 280-acre park with more than 13 miles of trails. With a number of equestrian campsites, Camp Wilkerson is a favorite destination for those with horses.

Camp Wilkerson features 10 tent or RV sites, 2 RV sites without hook-ups, 4 cabins, and 1 hiker/ bicyclist campsite. Included in the campground are 25 three-sided camp shelters referred to as Adirondack camps which sleep 8 each. There are also 6 Horse Camps, each with space for 1-4 horses.

Attractions near Camp Wilkerson: Hike or ride on the 3.5-mile Liahona Trail which loops through the park. Enjoy other trail loops from 5 - 10 miles in length.

Key Camp Wilkerson Campground Regulations

  1. Campfires may only be lit in provided fire rings.
  2. Help prevent the spread of invasive species by obtaining firewood locally.
  3. Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  4. Dogs must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
  5. No person within a park area shall possess any loaded firearm or discharge any firearm, pellet gun, bow and arrow, slingshot, or other weapons.
