Jones Creek Campground

Jones Creek Campground rests in the shady Tillamook State Forest near the Wilson River (shown above), along the Trees to Sea Scenic Byway (highway 6). The campground is 50 miles west of Portland. Campers can hike along the Wilson River Trail and enjoy the facilities at the Jones Creek Day Use Area.

Jones Creek Campground offers 42 campsites for tent camping. Among these are 14 walk-in tent sites and a group site for as many as 24 people. Only the group site accepts reservations, all other sites are first-come, first-served. Spruce, alder, hemlock, and fir provide amble shade. Facilities include drinking water and vault toilets. All the drive-in campsites and facilities are ADA accessible. A horseshoe pit is included in the campground.
