Gales Creek Campground

Gales Creek Campground is in the Tillamook State Forest near the Wilson River and the Trees to Sea Scenic Byway (highway 6). The campground is 50 miles west of Portland. The Gales Creek Trail trailhead is located just across the creek from the campground along with the Gales Creek Day Use Area.

Gales Creek Campground has 16 vehicle campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. There are also 3 walk-in tent sites. The campsites are well spaced out. All of the campsites are first-come, first-served. Drinking water and vault toilets are located in the campground. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
