Cold Springs Campground is 4 miles west of Sisters, Oregon, in the Deschutes National Forest. The campground is known for its opportunities for bird watching, bicycle riding around the campground loop, and hiking. With the campground so close to Sisters, it is a popular camping location for people attending events in town such as the rodeo and a quilt show.

Cold Springs Campground has 22 campsites for RVs, trailers and tents. Nine of the campsites have pull-through driveways. A forest of Ponderosa pines and aspen provide ample shade to the campsites. A small spring meanders through the campground.

Opening and closing dates for some campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths.

Key Cold Springs Campground Regulations

  1. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  2. Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
  3. Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
  4. Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
  5. Avoid problems with bears by securing food and scented items in a vehicle or other bear-proof locker.
