Rogue Elk County Park Campground
Rogue Elk County Park is on the upper Rogue River, a few miles downstream from Lost Creek Lake. The 33-acre park is 27 miles north of Medford on Highway 62. Visitors to the park take advantage of the river access for fishing, rafting, and swimming (when water levels are safe).
The park includes a 2-lane boat launch ramp and a play structure for children.
Rogue Elk Park Campground offers 38 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Twenty-two of the sites have water and electrical hook-ups. Some of the campsites are along the river. Mature trees provide ample shade at most sites. There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
