Lagoon Campground is surrounded on 3 sides by the Siltcoos Lagoon and rests within the Siuslaw National Forest and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The campground is 7 miles south of Florence. Visitors to the campground have easy access to a number of trails. The area is also popular for fishing and wildlife viewing. Among the wildlife seen around the lagoon are beavers, nutrias, ducks, herons, and bitterns.

Lagoon Campground has 40 campsites arranged on 2 loops. All of the sites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Most sites are surrounded by coastal shrubbery, shorepine and huckleberry. A 2-night minimum stay is required for reservations on weekends and 3 nights on holiday weekends.

  1. Quiet Hours run from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  2. Dogs must be kept on leash and attended at all times. Dogs are not allowed in day-use area or park buildings.
