Delta Campground

Delta Campground rests on the banks of the McKenzie River in the Willamette National Forest, 51 miles east of Eugene. Many who visit the campground use it as a launching site for rafts and drift boats on the McKenzie River. Popular Cougar Reservoir is about 5 miles to the south, but the 2018 Terwilliger Fire has impacted many of the sites there. Fortunately, Blue River Reservoir is nearby to the north.

Adjacent to the campground is the accessible Delta Old Growth Nature Trail which passes among majestic old-growth Douglas-firs. Some archaelogical sites in the area date from almost 7,000 years ago.

Delta Campground features 38 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Most sites have pull-through driveways. The campground is in a setting of old-growth Douglas fir and western red cedar. While most campsites accommodate up to 8 people, one site can hold 12 and two others up to 16 people.
