Chief Miwaleta County Park Campground
Chief Miwaleta County Park is spread among the trees on the northeast shore of beautiful Galesville Reservoir. The park is 8 miles east of Interstate 5 near Azalea.
The 630-acre reservoir is a popular fishing area for large and smallmouth bass, bluegill, trout, brown bullhead, and yellow perch. The lake is also enjoyed by water skiers.
Chief Miwaleta County Park Campground has 33 campsites. Of those, 20 campsites have full hook-ups for RVs or trailers. The other 13 sites are only for tent camping. The campground also has 2 deluxe cabins and 1 rustic cabin. Deluxe cabins have kitchens and bathrooms, while rustic cabins have a microwave and nearby restrooms. There is also a small group camp available.
