Hemlock Lake Campground
Hemlock Lake is deep in the Umpqua National Forest. The 28-acre reservoir only reaches a depth of 33 feet. Gas motored boats are not allowed on the lake, so anglers take advantage of float tubes or boats with electric motors to get out to the middle of the lake where reportedly the best trout fishing is found. Several nice hiking trails lead out from the lake to nearby points of interest. Many campers choose Hemlock Lake simply for its peaceful setting.
Hemlock Lake Campground has 1 double campsite and 9 other campsites which can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Another 3 sites are designated for tents only. There is no potable water at the campground.
