Promontory Park Campground

Promontory Park Campground is on the shore of North Fork Reservoir along the Clackamas River. Visitors to the park enjoy the local hiking trails, a playground and children's fishing pond. At the lake are a marina, boat launch ramps and boat rentals.

Promontory Park Campground has 69 campsites for tents or self-contained RVs or trailers. Campsites 4, 5, 23, and 25 have 20-amp electric hook-ups. Weekend reservations must include Friday and Saturday. The campground also has 6 cabins, 11 yomes (a cross between a yurt and a dome), and a group campsite for up to 35 people. A good number of campsites, cabins, and yomes are lakefront.

The park is operated by Portland General Electric.

Rent a boat at the nearby Get&Go Promontory Marina. They offer pontoon boats, fishing boats, row boats, kayaks, and jet skis.
Fish for rainbow trout in North Fork Reservoir. Children 17 and younger can fish in the park's Small Fry Lake.

Key Promontory Park Campground Regulations

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the park campground or day use area.
Pets and tents are not permitted at yome or cabin sites.
Entrance Gates are locked from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
