John Neal Memorial Park rests along the North Santiam River near Lyons. The 30-acre park is operated by Linn County Parks and is open April through September. Visitors to the park find good rafting, fishing and hiking. A boat ramp is in the park. Children have fun on the park's playground.
John Neal Memorial Park Campground has 23 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Ten campsites have water hook-ups, and 9 of those sites front the river. Mature trees provide nice shade for campers. Twenty-one of the sites may be reserved ahead of arrival. A 3-night minimum stay is required for Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend reservations. Two nights are required for other weekends and on the 4th of July holiday. There is also a Group Camp.
