Fishermen's Bend Campground

Notice from Recreation.gov "It came to our attention that some of the amenities were showing incorrectly on the Recreation.gov page. There is no water, electricity, sewer, or dump station until further notice." (July 2024)

Fishermen's Bend Campground sits along the North Santiam River east of Albany. Operated by the Bureau of Land Management, Fishermen's Bend Recreation Site is popular for hiking, cycling, fishing, and swimming. Volleyball, horseshoes, and basketball are enjoyed by many.

Fishermen's Bend Campground offers 54 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Most sites have either full or partial hook-ups, but 5 sites with river views are for tents-only and have no hook-ups. A few other sites are listed as tents-only, but may accept small trailers or tent trailers and have electric (50 amp) and sewer hook-ups available. A few of the campsites have shelters over the picnic table. Most sites accommodate up to 8 people; some will hold up to 12. Recent removal of dead trees has reduced the shade in the campground. The campground also has group camps and cabins.
