Chewaucan Crossing Campground
Chewaucan Crossing Campground is along the in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, 8 miles south of Paisley. The campground is a favorite destination for anglers who fish for rainbow and brook trout. The campground serves as the trailhead for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians who set out to access the Fremont National Recreation Trail.
Chewaucan Crossing Campground has 5 campsites which can accommodate tents, RVs, or trailers. The campground has adequate room for trailer turnarounds and features horse corrals. All the campsites are first-come, first served. There is no potable water at the campground.
