Bolan Lake Campground
Bolan Lake is picturesque mountain destination off the beaten path in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, about 30 miles south of Cave Junction. Campers at 12-acre Bolan Lake are rewarded with a quiet, lakeside setting close to good fishing and hiking. Only non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake. A popular trail leads to the fire lookout on Bolan Mountain, which, by the way, can be rented for overnight stays.
Bolan Lake Campground has 12 dispersed campsites on the north shore of the lake. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. There is no potable water at the campground. The campsites can accommodate tents and very small RVs or trailers.
