Almeda County Park Campground
Almeda County Park, operated by Josephine County, is on the bank of the Rogue River, 24 miles northwest of Grants Pass. With a boat ramp right in the campground, it is as a favorite launching point for boaters and rafters setting out onto the river. The beautifully forested site is also popular with those seeking a quiet retreat and with anglers.
Almeda Park Campground offers 34 tent sites and 1 Yurt. Some campsites are along the river's edge.
In addition, there are 2 group campsites - River Bend and Riffle - each of which can accommodate up to 30 people and 6 vehicles. There is space for 10 large tents at each of the group sites. Up to 5 trailers are allowed at each site. River Bend group campsite is more forested than Riffle.
