Harris Beach State Park Campground
Harris Beach State Park, along Oregon's southern coast, is known for its sandy beaches and rocky outcroppings. Located just north of Brookings, the state park is popular for bird watching and hiking. Nearby Bird Island is a National Wildlife Sanctuary and is a breeding site for tufted puffins and other rare birds. Wildlife sightings include gray whales, sea lions, and harbor seals.
Harris Beach Campground features more than 145 campsites. Of those, about 35 have full hook-ups; 50 have electric, water, and cable TV hook-ups; and another 60 or more tent sites have water available nearby. In addition, the campground has 6 Yurts and a hiker/bicyclist site.
