Rock Creek Reservoir Campground
Rock Creek Reservoir Campground is on the eastern side of Mt. Hood National Forest. The campground is popular with families who enjoy the lake for boating and fishing. A boat ramp is in the adjacent day use area. Anglers land bass, bluegill, and rainbow trout. Only electric motors are permitted. Canoes, kayaks, and standup paddleboards are often seen on the lake. Swimming is popular, but there are no lifeguards. Wonderful views of Mt. Hood can be found at the day-use area. Nearby forest roads are good mountain biking tracks.
Rock Creek Reservoir Campground has 33 campsites. Of those, 28 can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. The other five are for tent camping only. Eight campsites are waterfront. Parking sports are gravel. The campground is nicely shaded by Ponderosa pines.
