Rainbow Campground
Rainbow Campground is beside the Oak Grove Fork of the Clackamas River in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The main fork of the Clackamas River is nearby, providing whitewater rafting and fishing. The wonderful, 5-mile National Recreation Trail along the river connects Rainbow Campground with Riverside Campground. Watch for bald eagles, spotted owls, and an occasional peregrine falcon. Bagby Hot Springs is located about 14 miles southwest of the campground.
Rainbow Campground has 14 campsites for tent camping. Mature cedars provide plenty of shade for the campground. Some sites are available first-come, first-served; but most campsites can be reserved prior to arrival. Parking spaces are either paved or gravel.
