Poole Creek Campground is on the west side of Lemolo Lake in the Umpqua National Forest, about 75 miles east of Roseburg.

Lemolo Lake is a favorite destination for boaters, anglers, swimmers, and those who simply enjoy the beauty of a high mountain lake. Nearby trails provide plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding mountains and forests.

Poole Creek Campground has 60 campsites for RVs, trailer, and tents. Twenty-seven of the sites can be reserved, while the remainder are open as first-come, first-served sites. A dozen of the campsites are lakefront, the rest are loops within easy walking distance of the shore. The campground is in a forest of Shasta red fir, lodgepole pine, and mountain hemlock. Wheelchair accessible sites are available as well as accessible restrooms. There is also a Group Campsite.

Notice: "The Umpqua National Forest is currently in the process of selecting a concessionaire for several of its campgrounds. . . As a result, reservations for the 2025 summer season at this facility have been put on a temporary hold until the selection process is completed. . . it’s important to note that not all campgrounds in the Umpqua National Forest are impacted."

Reservations Available Poole Creek Campground reservations are available for summer months camping dates. Reservations can be made from 4 days up to 6 months in advance of arrival date. At other times campsites are first-come, first-served.
