Cove Creek Campground
Cove Creek Campground is on the south shore of Detroit Lake in the Willamette National Forest.
Visitors to Detroit Lake enjoy boating, jet skiing, water skiing, and fishing. The day use area has about 1,000 feet of shoreline. A launch ramp and dock are available for loading and unloading. There is no mooring allowed. The Stahlman Point Trail begins near the campground.
Cove Creek Campground features 63 campsites spread through forest and open areas slightly inland from the lake. The majority of campsites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Five sites are designated for tents, and another 10 sites are limited to trailers only. Most campsites can be reserved ahead of arrival, and a few are kept as first-come, first-served sites. The campground also has a Group Campsite.
