Skookum Creek Campground
Skookum Creek Campground is 40 miles northeast of Oakridge, close to the Three Sisters Wilderness and the Waldo Lake Wilderness. The campground serves as a starting place for those wanting to hike or horseback ride into the wilderness. Most popular is the Erma Bell Lakes Trail. The portion of trail from the campground to Lower Erma Bell Lake is designated as wheelchair accessible, but it is very challenging.
Skookum Creek Campground has 9 tents-only, walk-in campsites in a nicely forested area. Note that there is no potable water. All of the campsites are first-come, first-served.

Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
