Laverne County Park Campground
Laverne County Park's 350 acres are along the North Fork of the Coquille River, 15 miles northeast of Coquille. The drive to the park takes you up the beautiful Coquille River Valley (shown above). Visitors to the park take advantage of the cool waters of the river for swimming and fishing. The day-use area of the park has a developed swimming area, horseshoe pits, and softball fields. A fort-like play area is filled with attractions for young children.
Laverne County Park Campground features 76 campsites set in an old-growth forest of Douglas firs. Forty-six of the campsites have water and electric hook-ups for RVs while the other 30 campsites are most often used by tent campers.
