Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park Campground
Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park is on the central Oregon coast 14 miles north of Florence. Trails from the campground lead through beautiful forests to locations for wildlife viewing and to the beach. Five miles of sandy beach spread before visitors offering opportunities for beachcombing, picnicking, and whale watching. At night campers can hear the sound of the surf.
Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park Campground is along China Creek on the east side of Highway 101. The campground is shielded from the highway by native trees and plants. Of the 62 campsites, 41 have full hook-ups, 14 have electric and water hook-ups, and another 7 are walk-in, tents-only sites. There is also a hiker/biker camp. Campsites may now be reserved ahead of arrival date.
